This photo was taken by me, Joshua Ibasco, and was edited using Google Photos. For this photo, I added a B&W filter in order to hide some of the focus issues, then I had dabbled a little with some of the effects with the lighting.
I took and edited this photo of one of my friend's that's on the volleyball team with me, Armand, and he particularly doesn't like to take photos, which meant that I had to take one quickly before he moved out of the shot and that it was gonna be somewhat a little blurry and out of focus. However I tried to fix this by adding the black and white filter and some of the coloration of the photo by using Google Photos.
I believe this is a good photo, worth putting up as Photo of the Week: 9 because of its overall good focus and composition. It's clear that the main stars of the photo are the five friends, additionally they are also in focus and not the background. I have also edited the photo to follow the rule of thirds with a couple of their eyes on some of the lines. However I could possibly crop it even more to remove some of the head space.
I believe this is a good photo with the focus, composition and filter. The B&W filter adds to the dramatic feel of the photo. The focus being on the dirty sliding door adds into the the dramatic effect. The composition is also good with the left on following the rule of thirds.
With this photo, I believe that it has some mistakes, however it's still a decent photo due to me having to capture it at that right moment when my pug was running towards me. This photo could have also could have been better with more focus. The photo could also use a little bit of cropping, but overall I believe that it's a decent photo.
I believe that this is a good photo with it being that of a little artsy since back-lit photos aren't taken that often than half or three-quarters lit. The focus and the dog being right in the middle follows the rules of thirds which makes the photo more pleasing to look at. Additionally this photo would look better if the blue rope around my dog's foot, however I had to take the photo at that moment because she was running around everywhere.
I believe this is a good photo due to the colors and the focus. Additionally the composition is good, with the flower following the rule of thirds, being that of centered off to the left. The resolution of the photo is also good, making it pleasing to look at with the eyes.
I believe this is a good however it needs more focus around the pug's face. But, the composition and lighting helps deter the focus away from the clarity of the photo. The face the the pug is making is also adding to the photo being pleasing to view.
I believe this is a good photo due to the good focus and composition, that of the ice cream being right in the middle. Additionally the contrasting black background helps bring out the colors of the ice cream lid. With the lid slightly off and showing some of the ice cream, it makes it seem a little more artsy.
